The book in this kit contains fourteen stories told by Marian E. Miller a Seneca from the Turtle Clan. The Seneca people were known as the Keepers of the Western Door by the Iroquois Confederacy and Susan L. Conklin, who is a Genesee Country Historian, feels that Marian should be known as the Keeper of the Legends by all of us. Also included is a Time-Life book entitled "Realm of the Iroquois" which give an overview of the people, land, and culture of the Iroquois. (23 books).
