Peter, a Native boy, will begin his "brand new life" by joining Abdul's Muslim family for a special feast and before leaving will have to cook two traditional dishes for Abdul's classmates who rate his culinary skills on a scale of one to ten. Abdul will travel to Peter's home on the Squamish Reserve to catch salmon the traditional way and after preparing the fish for smoking, he will share his special meal with Peter's family.
