Presents adaptations of three children's picture books: Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel, by Virginia Lee Burton; Curious George Rides a Bike, by H.A. Rey; and Caps for Sale, by Esphyr Slobodkina. In the first, Mike Mulligan proves that, although dated, his steam shovel is still useful. In the second, the ever-curious monkey named George takes his new bike for a ride and runs into an unexpected adventure. In the third, a band of mischievous monkeys steals every one of a peddler's caps while he takes a nap.
